I love that main street brewery has bands every weekend. My favorite band there is " Rusty Vinyl". can't wait for them to play again in October.
A friend and I went to see the Cocktail Monkeys. One of my favorite bands. Love them to the moon and back. Dinner - I had the French Dip. Really good and my friend had a roasted garlic cheese burger excellent. Then cheesecake and chocolate cake. We were happy with our meal. Our server , Miguel took good care of us. Absolutely THE BEST BURGERS anywhere. OMG, SO YUMMY! The beef is probably a 3/4 pound patty, and is so juicy, flavorful and wonderful you won't believe it! They cook it like you ask. I like a medium rare burger and my Dad likes a true medium. The chef knows the difference and never disappoints. Also the fries are fantastic. We ask for them extra crispy and are always delighted with the generous mound of crispy, yummy fries we get. Great beer selection too! Check the hours before you go. Usually closed Mondays and Tuesdays at lunch time. We have eaten burgers all over the Bay Area, and Main Street Brewery is hands down the best. We look forward to our regular burger dates at Pleasanton Brewery and just cant go anywhere else. Y'all must do your burgers there!
I went there because the name "Main Street Brewery" made me think it was a brewery. When I arrived I saw that "Main Street Brewery" and "828 Bites & Brews" were two different signs on the same place. Well the place did have two rooms. One side was closed, with an unused bar inside, the other side was open. The open side was a Dive Bar. It had a pretty good beer list featuring several regional products. I got the BBQ pork sandwich which was good. The barman was doing his best, he was alone and the place was pretty busy. There were several TVs, not big-screen sharp-image ones like you see in most places, but TVs the size of home TVs, with dim images, the kind where they're only bright if you're viewing them straight-on. Though I was really disappointed in not getting the brewery experience I had in mind, I gave it four stars because it was good for what it was.
